Senescence
Senescence is a series of paintings that look at aging. Not just our bodies aging, but also infrastructure, institutions and landmarks. In my work, I use architectural references, map lines, shape and texture to convey my themes of aging. In addition, the juxtaposition of value, color and hard/soft edges are other ways I explore the natural processes of aging and decay.
